I have two older Winchester 1400s that do not have any place to mount studs for removable slings. They are beat up, so my thought was to cut off the head of a swivel screw and weld it onto the vent cap of the shotguns. Does anyone have a few (like four) screw studs lying around that they would like to get rid of? I would rather not buy a brand new package of swivel studs on ebay, just to throw out the swivels to use the screw stud heads.

Thanks.

You want the pieces that screw into a stock and accept sling swivels, right?
If so, I have them. Send me your address and I will mail them to you.
