Anyone got a 40/30/30 in Dark Gray or Black, Dark Blue, and Dark Red/Burgundy?
Thinking this would scratch my itch...

Anyone have a pick of Black, Burgundy, Dark Grey (45:35:20)? Preferably in a Winchester Hunter.

[/quote] I like really the 3rd (greenish swirly), 4th (McFlame) and last (dark swirly) the best. If I did a red-white-blue I would have the tip a darker shade of blue, white in the middle and red on the butt.

Mcwoody 7/08 What is the exact colors and percentages used to make this stock? Did you use dark brown and black? It looks soooo much better than many other McWoodies I've seen, I'm wondering if it is because it was mixed with "dark brown" and black 50/50? Other McWoodies that don't look as good may have used a lighter brown. This could be one reason why your stock looks soooo much better than others. Also, did you leave it as you received it or did you do any wet sanding?

Me too. I'd like to know as well.

If you order one thinking you will duplicate another exactly, there's a good chance you will be sadly mistaken. Also....lighting makes all the difference in photos.

Not that it would necessarilary look the same if ordered the same, but the stock on the M700 .257 Weatherby is a Rem Classic in 50% olive/30% light tan/20% black, the M700 pre-6.5-06 is 1/3 each yellow/orange/black on a KS, the Supergrade M70 is 50/50 black white. I do wish I would have ordered dark blue on the A3 Sporter rather than 'regular' blue. I also wish I would have had the action slid forward about a 1/2" in the stock. Well, there's always the next one...

50/50 Black/Orange. There's a bit of sun glare on this shot but if you hit reply and see it full size you can see more detail.

60% White, 25% Black, 15% Red (A3 700 S/A) Pretty happy with the results, maybe wish for a little more red? (Crappy Cell Pics)
