My boy Barsky hadn't been feeling well for a while and I noticed blood in his stool last week. My regular vet is out of town and the 4th of July closed the other vet down for a couple of days. We went this afternoon for an exam.. He has a condition called Perianal Fistula, it's a pretty serious condition and typically found in the German Shepard breed,I have no idea what bloodlines he has except some husky. Treatment is expensive and can be something you must continue for the rest of their life. So hoping an aggressive course of meds puts him in remission and I can keep him healthy.

I wish you well. He'll respond to your efforts with unconditional love. That's just the way that they are. Would that humans were that smart. Sorry for your situation. I wish there was something that I could do.

I thought this might be an alternative to Obama care.

I had a chessie with the same condition about 14 years ago. We tried lots of things but the only one that worked was putting him on anti organ rejection meds for transplant patients. Very pricey and the condition came back if we tried to wean him of the meds. Good luck.
