I painted my boat with light gray epoxy and used marine vinyl decking material to cover all the wood surfaces. It looked good, it was very tough, it cleaned up easy, and it stood the test of time. IME, Zolatone looks nice but it doesn't hold up well.

I used a light grey porch/deck latex that had sand traction in it. Floor and lower inside got this paint. Durable and cool too (not hot). No expensive marine paint for my Skanky Beast.

Aluminum and fiberglass boat interiors. ... Far tougher than regular paint, Zolatone ...in brown for me.............prep prep prep = best long lasting results if not Zolatone then move way up the ladder to "hard nose paint"..i have it on the bottom of my boat (under water! )

Light grey or dead grass brown. Zolatone is too hard to match when it shows wear. I have it on my aluminum fishing boat.

Cabela's Tuff Coat non-skid coating in tan color up to the first seam in the side. Marsh grass/cattail colored duck boat paint from first seam to gunnells.

looking for opinions about the best color to paint the inside of my open fishing boat. did the last one up in off white, found it was like sitting in a big reflector dish. Likewise, when I had the rubber sheet floor,it was really hot. Ocean blue. That way you might find it before the salvagers.
