Bud's had one the other day for $719 with free shipping.
A lot on gunbroker between $750 and $800.
Cabelas in KC had one last week, I want to say a bit over $800, but can't remember exactly.
Friend has one in a shop an hour away, he's got it listed at $900. Usually he is pretty fair on price, I told him he was $100 high at least, he said he knows and doesn't care if he sells it or not.
None of them have had anything special in the wood department from what I've seen. The one wacenturion posted above looked better than all the ones I've seen.

MichiganScott: My close friend bought one on Friday here in Dillon, Montana and it was marked $800.00 but the store was having a 10% off of everything sale and he got it for $720.00 (no sales tax here!). It had VERY nice wood on it. I liked the looks, fit and feel of it - he is going to Hunt with it as opposed to collecting or trading it. Hope everyone's 257's shoot well for them. I turned that one loose and gave up my $100 non refundable deposit after I bought the Cabelas Model 70 Super Grade Lightweight .257. If anyone is interested it's $729 plus $29 shipping. I can tell you where it's at. PM me for details....
