Me too, but it's more like a million guilty go free per one innocent convicted, and that's why I vote acquittal.

Does anyone know if Zimmerman is still married? Why isn't his wife in court?

She was on the defense witness list and prosecution was granted a motion to sequester them from the trial. Today, I don't know if she was there. I saw his Mother and Father in the gallery today.

Which makes me wonder why then Trayvon's parents were allowed to be in the gallery the entire time. They were also on the witness list.

Florida law...family of the victim is allowed in the court room when other witnesses are not.

Why only six jurors? Don't we use 12 for all felony charges, Pat?

Yes, we do. I guess that's a Florida thing too.

The legal experts on TV are all over the place regarding the prosecution's closing arguments. I've seen a dozen or so comment today and there's a lot of varying opinions.

Their opinions on whether GZ is guilty of either charge is more consistent though. The majority believes that GZ is innocent although they have doubts about how the jury will rule.

I know it shouldn't be a direct comparison but how the public sees this trial seems to split along the same lines as politics.

Republican = GZ is innocent
Democrat = GZ is guilty

Therefore I say ... hung jury.

That seems to favor the State in comparison to Texas.

Texas gives you twice the chance to find a "reasonable doubter".

Double edged sword for sure.

Much easier to get 6 to acquit than 12.

But 12 would all but guarantee a hung jury in this particular case.

Funny how nobody thinks the jury is as smart as themselves, ain't it?

Except me. I think they are smart... like me.

And Isaac. He thinks they are smart... like him.

He thinks they will acquit, and I think they won't.

Come to think of it...... that's kinda funny too.

Is that because Republicans get 'fair and balanced" news, while Democrats get edited audio clips?

Can you say 'agenda'?

That seems painfully obvious to me too. Even though I am biased, I think it has a lot to do with the conservative position is due to actually using their brain instead of emotion.

And the liberal position seems to be consistently based on emotion and race. It is like they constantly feel the need to correct some past wrongs that have zero bearing on any current issue.

No.

The rights understand facts.

The left understands emotion.
