Be prepared to wait a long time if you go to Snow City. The crabby Benedict is excellent.

Humpies has a good breakfast on the weekends. Really good Eggs Benedict and fried potatoes.

Kriner's Diner is very good, the corned beef hash is home made, not canned stuff.

Last time I had eggs Benedict at Inlet View, it was also very, VERY good.

Anyone had breakfast at City Diner?

City Diner is really good and prices are fair. Excellent service as well.

too late to eat at Snow City, you needed to hit it a couple of months ago when they had all the pics of the gay couples adorning their walls.

lol, the crowd or the vibe doesn't bother me in the least, it's what's on the plate that counts.

gonna have to give Kriners a try, Gwennies, btdt too many times it's not what it was 20 years ago.

great thread, thanks for all the good tips Anchoragites, ans, whatever they call my southern neighbors!

man no votes for Village Inn : )

I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

There's a place in Eagle River that also has awesome breakfast's,
it's called Bear Mountain Grill and it's open for breakfast and lunch only. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays and offers a breakfast buffet on Saturday and a brunch on Sunday.

That's ok, I'll ass shoot a dink.

I was reminded by my better half that we ate at Kriner's also. Neat place, always busy, great food.
