Cause they won't honor their lifetime service agreement for me with new batteries. If you have 18V NiCad batteries and any interest in a used hammer drill, like new recip saw, like new circular saw or like new flashlight, pm me and we'll see if we can work something out. No more Ridgid or Home Depot for me.

I have the same problem with my Rigid batteries and they won't honor it with me either!

said they never received my receipt and upc which is bs - all i have in my file is a photocopy of them from when I sent 'em in. said they are not responsible for mail delivery, yadda, yadda. i did register online when i purchased 'em, and still have the photocopy of all my paperwork, but they still will not honor it. back to dewalt for me, and it will be from lowe's - home depot spews all this crap out abt ridgid's warranty, so screw them too.

That's BS on their part. I recently purchased the drill combo and after reading a few of the comments here, have some regret.
I'd make a little more noise before giving up.

When I bought a Rigid Drill and registered it I think I got an email confirming the registration.

Home depot sucks. Bought a frig from them and it went bad within 9 months. Took 6 months to get refund. I will not go back.
