It could be cuz there are some new ones out a similar pricing, even though yours is different than the new ones. Just a guess.

That may be true, although this one seems to be far more rare than the new 1894FG model. You see half a dozen of them on gunbroker every day. You only see an 1894S every once in awhile. In my opinion, the straight, uncheckered stock makes for a much slicker package.

I would like to take that rifle off your hands. If you have a picture of that would be nice but, if not thats okay too. The price you have offered is more than fair. Please contact me with particulars. This is my first time so be gentle...

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT WITH TBB, he is one nice & honorable person to deal with. TBB and I have exchanged firearms and his email's are always well written and his character can be seen in his written word.

I'll second and third powderburn's recommendations. He and I have done business before, and I'd do so again with him without hesitation.

Great buy on that Marlin, too. And I am glad that 1) I am a little short on $$ at the moment, and 2) you stepped in before all my willpower went away... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Tennessegator, the rifle is yours. PM on the way with the details. I just got back to my comp this morning from a fruitless weekend of coyote hunting. Sorry for the delay.

Powderburn and Vanimrod, thank you for the vote of confidence. I can say the same about each of you with absolute confidence.

Tennesseegator, let me apologize to you up front. I overlooked a PM from Cockandloaded saying that he would take. His PM beat your post and PM by about an hour. Therefore the rifle is his.

Again, I am very sorry for the premature post on my part. I had about 10 PMs, and simply skipped his accidently. If the sale happens to fall through you are next in line.

Oh well, if you run up on any others don't be shy about it. Keep me in mind if it doesn't work out. Thanks, tennessee gator
