was wondering what will you recommendations on base and rings Quick detach will be a good option for a 458 win mag.
im looking for your recommendations.

I'm a big fan of the ancient Weaver system on big guns (and light guns too, for that matter). Personally, I use two-piece bases instead one 1-piece bases because it gives my big fingers better access to the loading port. But many shooters prefer the one piece rail. Use a little lock-tite on the base screws.
The Weaver rings are a pain to set up initially and look buck-ugly to some, but they're hell for stout. And if the rifleman has a coin in his pocket, he can remove the Weaver rings from the bases while in the field and go to his open sights. Then, he can re-attach his scope later with little worry of loss of zero (but I always check on a convenient target).
I was hoarding when hoarding wasn't cool.

I have read that Zastava was and still so good that remington [The all american rifle maker} imported them and pinned their name to them>>>>Got to luv THAT>ENJOY!

Just went to take a look!> my custom 28 inch 7rem mag and mpi stock Weaver 1" Usa on the rings. Yes they are Ugly but the system has never failed!
