I've had several pair over the years, my favorite our Mountain Hardware. My wife also wears that same brand & likes hers very much. There was a man that walked across the Brooks Range in Alaska & he spoke highly of the Columbia Titaniums (?). If you like remote hiking in raw wilderness, I would highly suggest his DVD. He filmed & hiked this solo. We use to have it here at the house & I would watch it a few times a year. My wildlife biology professor talked me out of it, for teaching instructions. I was glad to share it with my co-students.

Pants Columbia Titanium Nylon Convertible 19 Another great article of clothing. Mosquito proof, fast drying, lightweight and comfortable. I only zipped off the legs and wore them as shorts once due to mosquitoes, rain, cold, or a combination of the three! Outstanding

Yup. Same pants I have. They're listed as fishing pants so they might not show up under searches for hiking.

Im pretty sure theyve dropped the Titanium name but these look very much like them NYLON PANTS
