Dear Jack- Make up several of these every year. VERY easy cartridge to load for and brass, as you say, is easy to get. Performance same as 375 H&H mostly. Feeding good in all rifles, even the shorter Mausers. I like it better than a 338 by a long ways. Try it, you`ll like it. Aloha, Mark[in Or]

I apologize, after having gone and looked they appear to be out of the 270gr bullets...I ordered some .338 225gr and .270 150gr last night and haven't looked at the actual computer list which shows inventory just my printout...

MOTW,
<br>I have a .375/.338 in a Ruger Stainless Mod.#77 and couldn't be happier about it!! Somebody ought to make a factory round out of this gem. It does everything the H&H does only in a lighter, more compact rifle with a little less powder. It makes for a great North American "heavy" rifle. You can see my ballistics at Brian's .416 pages...go up a few posts and click.

So far I have killed a bull elk with my .375/.338...Swift 270gr A Frame at 274 yards. One shot broadside thru the lungs. He went 40 yards and dropped.
