I know a guy who has a 358 STW, he is a BIG BOY and can handle the recoil. Its his favorite rifle for everything from deer to moose. I personally wouldn't want anything moor than my 358 Norma.

Good luck, good hunting, and good times.

For $799 with steel Talleys, a VariX II 3-9 leupold, and custom Hornady dies it seems like a BUY. It is a pre-letter action, has some sort of coating, and a loundener but I have a sawzall smile

Maybe if I get out on some fires this summer yet I'll have to give it a whirl...

Sounds like an interesting round. Can't find any ballistics info with a cursory google search. Wonder how it stacks up with the STA.

If that "loudener" will unscrew I'd shoot it first without it before I cut it off. Can't say I'd want any part of the recoil that thing will produce unbraked. It does sound cool and at a great price though.

True, however, once they do, that 300 RUM of yours will just seem so obsolete and like a true rifle loony, you will just have to have one of the 35s.... grin

30-06 till i die, the greatest round ever!
