I've had so many Brownings over the years I've lost count. I still have a decent stable of them including a Superposed, few A-5s, Gold Evolve Sporting, BT-99 Plus, a Medalist, a Hi-Power, a few A-bolts, a Eurobolt, BAR, 2 BPRs, and a BLR '81. No one has posted any pics of an Acera yet so here are 2 of the 3 I own (a plain jane -06 and a Battue in 300 Win).
How do those hi-wall/lo-wall guns shoot? I heard they are like the Ruger number 1's, not real accurate. Tell me I'm wrong because I think they are sweet guns.
Mine averages 1.25 to 1.5" for three shot groups and it's favorite load.

Me and my Mountain Ti .308. The buck was not impressed, lasered at 284 yds. The one the year before was 306. More likely the Burris Ballistic Plex than any special skill from me.

You can easily vote your way in to Socialism; but you'll have to shoot your way out.
I'm one of those technically challenged old farts of which you speak. I have two TD22s, two Safari bolt guns on the small ring Mauser, two high grade BARs, an a-5 that I bought new in 1963, and a pigeon grade Superposed 20 also from 1963. Have had a ton of others over the years, both as shooters and "investments". Love me some Belgium Brownings. Also had a few Japs that were also good property. Jack

I started out life shooting my Dad's 1948 vintage Browning Trombone 22LR. Killed scores of grouse with that little pump, head and neck shots only -- Dad taught me right. He passed it on to me, and we started a family tradition -- it goes to the oldest in the family hereafter. Don't have a picture.
My next Browning was a BAR in 7mm Rem Mag. It was topped with a Bushnell Banner scope and would shoot dime sized groups off an improvised rest. It was a little fussy as to ammo, so I sent it down the road.
I also had a BL-22 grade II that my ex-wife claimed when she left. She sold it for 50 bucks and gave the money to her drunken uncle for booze. I offered her a lot more than that.
Last Browning I have now is M1000 Eclipse in 300 Win Mag. It has a target weight barrel, thumbhole stock, and will put 168 TSX's through the same jagged hole at 100 yards, all day long.
I like Browning firearms. I also have a 1973 vintage Browning Challenger 22LR pistol that is accurate and high quality.
I also like Tikkas -- more.
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Prov 4:23)
I also am one of the computer illiterate old fogies. I have a 325wsm in A-bolt, 300 win mag in Stainless stalker, two barrel set Superposed, high power in 40S&W, BL - 22, 22 auto,BLR in 358, and a B92 in 44 Mag. The Superposed and and the BLR are my overall favorites, but have taken elk with the 325 and the 300.
BPS 12 received new as a gift when I was 16 and a 12ga A-5 Magnum, Japan made with tubes.
White Gold Medallion in 270Win with Sightron SII Big Sky. Bedded, free-floated, and braked. 2lb trigger. Will shoot ragged one hole groups at 100yds if I do my part.
BAR LongTrac 30-06 with Tasco Titan 30mm 1.5-6x42. This is my low-light, woods, hog hunting rig.

Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.
My Daughter with her College Graduation present from DaDa. X-Bolt Micro, left handed, 7mm-08, Leupold VX-3 3.5-10X40. We haven't had time to even shoot it yet. I have some handloads ready and some Hornady Custom "LITE" ammo ready. will post range report when possible
Had to post here 1st!!! I haven't even laid hands on my 1st Browning yet, but I'm still super exited to soon be a proud owner of a rifle I've always wanted since the age of 15 when I first laid eyes on and held a model 81 BLR 20yrs ago. Ordered one in .308Win, blued/walnut/takedown, with pistol grip. Until it arrives, I'll just have to leave y'all with the catalog photo for now.
