RCBS ChargeMaster, Redding BR3
I used a 10-10 for decades with lee scoops and a trickler from Redding. That worked just fine, but the ChargeMaster makes things go a lot faster with extruded powders which is what I use in my varmint rifles.

Lyman 1200 DPS 3 combo unit with RCBS trickler if the Lyman has a problem with a specific powder. It too makes quick work of extruded powders.

Over the years, I've had powder measures by Herter's, RCBS, Lee, Harrell, and Redding. The only ones I still have are Redding: a BR-3, a Competition BR-30, and two Match Grades.

I started this thread because during a recent move, part of my Lyman 1500 DPS was misplaced and I was completely unable to charge any rounds. I wanted to see what might be available in case I had to make a decision to buy another. I am happy to report the missing part has been found and I am preparing my loading area for action. Thanks to all who participated with their thoughts and ideas.

Ho about powder measures for pistol rounds? I need a measure to throw 3-15 grains.

Dillon powder measure cause I ain't got all week. That. H335/WW748/BLC2, Ramshot Hunter, R-15, H380, WW760/H414 all meter like a dream through the Dillon. RCBS 10-10 scale Harrell's for anything I'm not loading on a Dillon. Lyman DPS for load work-up and the very few things I shoot long stick powders through.

I run a Prometheus Gen 2. It's awesome, and a work of art.
I used to run 2 chargemasters, but the scale drift was less than ideal for precision.
If I didn't run a Prometheus (god forbid), it would be my Redding BR3 and a Sartorious with an Omega Trickler...ALMOST as a good.

RCBS 10-10 scale. Belding&Mull measure, and a lathe-turned brass measure I built, similar to the old Pacific pistol powder measure, with interchangeable rotors for different weights of pistol powder.

Got an Ohaus (pre-RCBS branding) 10-10 in 1976 or so. Still works perfect, and I check it with check weights every now and then. Bought a Redding #3 measure in 1980, with both the regular and the handgun "inserts." It still works like a champ too. Have an RCBS chargmaster combo, works great, but too slow for most of my use. Great for load development and small lots with coarse powders though. I use both the scale on the Chargemaster and the Ohaus to check the Redding measure...redundancy is never a bad thing.

RCBS 1010 scale Harrell's powder measure, BR Premium. These are wonderful to say the least. Very little if any variance between throws, goodbye to using the trickler. They cost a bit but I wish I had known about them many moons ago. http://www.harrellsprec.com/ned What he said. What they said. 10-10 settles out pretty quick. Pard is using a Harrells and doesn't bother measuring once it's dialed in. I'm slumming a Uniflow, and the micrometer adjustment screw is the way to fly.

I somehow ended up with three Dillons. They are designed for case activation. One is on a press and just flat is repeatable! One is in a powder stand and is fossilized to throw 15 GR of Lil'Gun. I have another stand mounted Little Dandy with just one rotor, for just one load 3.8 of Tight Group for 25/20 32/20 and 38 Special. I did cast a filler slug of lead into the base of my 40 year old RCBS trickler. A Redding scale and a bunch of Lee Dippers are handy too.

I use the RCBS chargemaster for stick powders. The Dillon loads the stuff that I use in high volume. A Harrells does everything else.
Everything is checked with an old Herters scale. I think Redding probably made it.
A scale, a trickler, and a set of Lee dippers did the stick powders before the Chargemaster. A Uniflow did the job before the Harrells.
OSU, I'm glad that you found your stuff. Lightman
