Dave,
Really enjoyed the berry pictures. There's just something special about deer camp in the summer, surrounded by friends and family. You guys are bringing those kids up right, buddy.

I got a sample of those very berries this morning. nom nom nom!
Tomorrow looks to be sunny and a high of 70*. A perfect day to go for a Ranger ride and pick some berries with good friends.
Do not feed the bear!

We have a potential buyer that wants to look at our house on Sunday, and we haven't even listed it yet.
Gearing up for the weekend here, I wish I could have got the grass cut at the cabin last night so the ground could dry up better today. We've experienced a couple of real soaker down pours lately. Ground is a little soggy.
Something clever here.

This is excellent news! No paying a Realtor if that works out. Better yet! I wish you guys luck on the potential sale. Have a great time at camp this weekend. I'm seriously counting the days until I can get up there. 111 days until deer opener btw....in case anyone is interested it that.

By the way, new developments in yesterday's window tint citation from "super cop jr"
Super cop jr didn't put his name on the ticket, he left that line blank. He just filled in the badge number.
I didn't think much of it....
One problem, he used another trooper's badge number...... The badge number he used belongs to a female trooper that works up in our area.
So.... why?
Does he even have a badge?
LMAO!!
Yeah I don't think I'll be paying a window tint fine.
Something clever here.

That is hilarious Dave. Maybe you have regained some of your Norris Swagger!
Cooler here today as well. Very nice. Home improvement mode in full swing here too. Putting in a gas fireplace and built in cabinets. Built a 5X10 section for the end of our dock. Thinking about fall a little more every day. We can shoot geese in what, 3-4 weeks? Our Pheasants Forever Parent/Daughter shoot held last Tuesday was a huge success with 23 girls shooting, over half of which had never shot a gun. Some really big smiles on their faces, I will say that. They even shot a flintlock shotgun. The delay between trigger break and the bullet leaving the barrel seems to run about 15 minutes, but I am sure is well less than a second. Pretty neat gun to shoot.
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

Drove by the CarCraft Summer Nat's car show for lunch. LOTS of muscle in there man...It was hard to keep driving. I'm hoping I can talk the kids into going tomorrow.

Anybody have the recipe for the blueberry topping that goes on ice cream?
Yes... Blueberries. Nice. I found the recipe and it's very easy. 2 teaspoons unsalted butter 1/4 cup white sugar 1 pint blueberries Melt butter in saucepan. Add berries and sugar. Simmer until berries release their juice. Let cool and serve slightly warm over ice cream. Optional: add more berries for garnish DELICIOUS!!!!

The saga continues...... Law enforcement types who issue a ticket to Northern Dave are AFRAID to put their name and badge number on the ticket. You don't pull the mask off the Lone Ranger, step on Superman's cape or give Northern Dave a citation.

There's a joke that says its illegal to pick up beer cans or bottles in Oklahoma
Because they are Indian artifact's :-)
