Nice. I really like that Model 88.
I've got a similar set up with a bolt, a lever and a single shot all in 243.
Mine are a Winchester 70 Featherweight a Browning BLR, (the old steel receiver version) and a Winchester Low Wall

I've thought that the only one's to add to my set are a Remington 760 and a .243 EBR
A Sako would be nice, but like the EBR they are not lefty friendly.

You 243 fans should visit cherrys fine guns web site Someone must have sold their sako collection because they have quite a list for sale including a neat little full stock vixen listed. Someone needs to buy that so it will quit tempting me.

I have had 3 243. First was a Remington 788 22" light contour barrel. Gave it to my stepson. Still shoots great, wish he would put a real scope on it. I would borrow it. Had a Winchester mod 70 pushfeed with real nice wood, 24". Thing shot good, but was over 9lb. I'm using a Remington model 7 youth 18.5" with a slip on mikes butt pad, 2.5x8 VXIII. It is becoming my favorite rifle. Light, fast and accurate enough.
