Thought you all may like to see my new Accurate Ordnance 300WM. Accurate Ordnance is a relatively new company that is made up of several guys who have been in the rifle building business for quite some time. I feel that I owe a big Thank You for making my experience with them an excellent one.

Mark handles the communications and did an excellent job of answering my unintelligent questions. He was easily accessible by email and quick to respond. They had a team of guys (Jason, David, and Thomas-I think?) in the back doing the work. Everybody was top notch. As you can see from the photos, the rifle turned out great!

Specs:

McMillan Rem Classic
Bartlein#3 24in plus Vais break
Stiller Predator w/BDL bottom metal
Timney trigger
Talley LW
Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40
Weight as shown 8.6#

I had some difficulty determining max OAL and was getting variable measurments depending on my techniques. So my first range session I was well into the lands and getting variable results. So I dropped Mark an email. He recommended getting the Hornady OAL gauge and asked me to get him a once fired piece of brass so he could fix me up with a custom round to use with the Horandy gauge. So I finally got the OAL right and went to the range yesterday.

The flier in the center is from a cold clean bore. All other targets are 3 shot groupds with VARIOUS CHARGE WEIGHTS and POWDER. The lower right hand is only one shot.

Yeah. I was going to go with black ceracote but after seeing yours I couldn't resist the OD.

Did I see yours for sale? What's up with that?

Kind of you to post this.

We need to go out to Elberton sometime to try it out at 400 yards. Me, Jason and Thomas are all members up there if you ever want to go.

Don't be a stranger.

Had you told me OD Green Cerakote and GAP camo would look good together, I probably would have told you you were full of [bleep]. I stand corrected--nice!
