Really good looking rifles....I've never seen one in the flesh. The gun shops around here seem to like selling Ruger rifles with synthetic stocks.

I like mine also. I paid about what they are asking for this one in yesterdays dollars.

Ruger Express for sale

I like that. One of the few things I've ever won at an SCI Banquet was one of those in 416 Rigby. Problem was at the time I had just had my 3rd Retinal surgery and wasn't looking forward to risking another. They finally did somekind of band around both eye balls and I'm thinking I could probably shoot it now, but still nervous about it. Most I use now is my 375 H&H Sako and my Winchester 338 WM. But mostly my 30-06 will work for me. I'm thinking if I ever win another I may have to drop the hammer a few times just to see how it feels.

The .416 Ruger in these KICKS HARD, much more than the overly heavy, poorly balanced .375 one that I had and NO .338WM, I have owned/shot 13 and now have 6 comes anywhere close in recoil.

Soooo, in your situation, I would BE VERY reluctant to shoot one and would probably not go beyond a nine lb. .338WM........
