GAP uses them for their Templar actions on the in-house built rifles - I know I'd sure like one. SO I think they would work fine for your needs. Check the Custom Rifle forum, should be able to find some builds with the Defiance being used. "Rather hunt Mule deer than anything else" "Team 7MM-08"
