Yesterday we picked 4 gallons of blueberries in 2 hours.

Wow!

Solon Springs, WI area is reporting lots of berries as well.

Is this later than normal?

I think there's another week left and that might put it a little later than normal.

These cool nights and mornings are getting me excited for September. Of course, I'm getting to be VERY busy at work.

All the crops seem to be about 2 weeks behind this year around here.

Highs only in the 60's today. Love it.

SIL was up at his camp this weekend. Bears damaged the door on his box blind and have been chewing on the ladder. Looks like they climb the ladder to get to the blind.

Cool! somewhere I have pictures from last year that happened to one of our stand on the iron range. Claw marks up the wooden steps.

Before we resided the shack with galvanized tin, the bears would tear the tar paper off every year. First thing we did upon arrival was to put new tar paper on.

We finally decided to add-on instead of moving. We like our location and with the addition, we can fix a few things about our place that we don't like.

We spent the w/e up in Ely at a State Park. Beautiful weather and scenery.

This just for you Tzone: We upgraded the wife's minivan so I will have a few more years of that sitting next to my truck in the garage. I have noticed that the side of the truck closest to the minivan seems a little more girly. Think I better go eat some raw meat or something.

Well finally got my 4wheeler back. Oh how I have missed it. Driving my old one was not as much fun. Guess it didn't take me very long to love my power steering. I suppose I better clean up my old one and actually list it for sale. Should have done that last fall, but glad I didn't so I had something to ride while mine was in the shop.

I really need a trip to Chickenbuck!!!!! Hoping this weekend. Even if I have to come alone.

We should still be able to pick blue berries next weekend if you want to. You should bring your mama and "Falls in water" with you.

if there are berries in 2 weeks I could make it, could really use it. going to be in fargo the weekend of the 17th for a wedding, mama is in it so I have to be there for 3 or 4 days twiddling my thumbs.

no I climbed a tree and put it about 15' up since it was on public land. didn't want anyone seeing it or taking it.

Nope, heck we don't even plan on going out there ourselves unless you come up.
