I have one and love it. I only half trusted it when I first got it but after using check weights regularly to verify as well as confirming against a Lee 505, I am quite confident with it now. There is some minor drift but if you are paying attention, you will see it and can recalibrate it then continue. I have had mine for several years now and no problems at all.

Just bought one about three weeks ago form Midsouth and with the $50.00 rebate that makes it 250.00. I love, love, love it! I have been reloading for over 20 years and it is awesome.
Enough already, just shoot it!

I use one regularly and love it. It is even better when working up loads to try in rifles. A simple push of a button or two and the charge weight is changed. When loading a batch up for a rifle it does take a little longer due to having to wait for it to dispense. I usually am working on a couple different things when I am dropping powder for 50-100 cases. That is just me though. I can't just stand there and wait.

The Chargemaster I bought recently works great! Be advised however, that you may end up .1-.2 grains over on each drop, as it can sometimes have difficulty trickling the exact powder charge, and it will automatically assume .2 grains over is ok. The scale will read the overweight charge, but when it first meters the powder and meets the target weight, it will beep indicating the charge throw is complete, flash the weight you entered, i.e. "68.6 grains" and then flash quickly to the charge number, i.e. "6" as in the 6th charge thrown. If you give it 3 seconds, it will then read the real weight measured, like "68.8 grains." Mine does this about 20% of the time, using powder like RL 15 and IMR 4831. It is usually very accurate however, and I've gotten really good at dumping .2 grain worth of powder into my manual trickler for use later.
There is no doubt that a manual powder dispenser is much quicker to throw a charge and move on to the next, however I'm anal and found myself throwing every charge and weighing it. I would have to throw the charge into the scale pan, which was always a real hassle, then weigh it, then pour it into the case. This is where the Chargemaster excels: type in the weight, wait for it to throw the charge, verify weight on scale attached to the dispenser, pour into cartridge. It is faster to me than hand throwing and weighing every charge. YMMV.

If you remember to wait on the beep before removing the charge and also wait for zero before pushing the dispense button they are really great. An educated guess tells me mine has thrown about 40K rounds, still going strong and if it quits tomorrow it has been well worth its money. It has been moved so many times going to matches that it should have broken already.
Sometimes the first few charges will need to have a few grains of powder dumped back but they seem to "learn" not to over throw the more rounds you learn. I have tested mine a great deal and learned that hitting the dispense button before the scale returns to zero causes bad stuff to happen.

To help with the small .1 to .2 over charges, I read about a fix using a McD's soda straw (its a larger diameter straw). Cut about a 5/8" piece and cut 6 - 8 narrow triangular slits in the end about 5/16" long. Fit the straw in the end of dispenser tube (slits out). The slits better control the amount of powder that falls out of the tube during final trickling of powder. Not perfect but works pretty well.

Same as fun4x4 still waiting on my RCBS Turret Press. Anybody else have one of these? Not trying to rob or change the thread just thought I'd ask.

My RCBS Chargemaster was just delivered yesterday. I should be able to use it within the week. Good information posted here.
