Actually a chrono report with WC872 powder in a my new 27 inch Lilja barrel.
I have been running this powder in a 24" barrel and will now give the comparison.
First off factory Nosler 125 Partitions. 24" 2925 fps 27' 3140 FPS
125 Nosler H1000 24" 3297 27" 3350
129gr. Hornady IB and WC872 24" 3265 27" 3405
140gr. Nosler Partition 24" 3050 27" 3350
140gr. Hornady 24" 3024 27" 3300
130 Barnes TSX 24" 3250 27" 3480
Those are the same charges in diff. rifles. None in the 24" are to hot but several in the 27" need to be reduced a 1 to 1.5 grains.
No accuracy was noted as this was just a chrono session.
A earlier range trip with the 129 Hornady IB's did a 220 yard group of 4 at 3325 fps. into just over 1.5 inches.
Our 100 yard range is down for upgrades so it will be back to 220 range next trip.
Rifle info.. Ruger Tang safety with new 27" Lilja in a McMillian standard Ruger stock. Scope is a Leupold 4.5x14x40 30mm tube with CDS.

I've got a very similar set up and never managed over 3300 safely with 140s. I use US869, so similar but not exactly the same. Also a 27+" Lilja barrel. Interesting nevertheless. Makes you realize how much is left on the table with factory loads.

Looks like my 130 TSX is ballpark.I get 3313 out of a Douglas 26" tube but that's pushin it...3250 is my standard hunting load.

In the 24" barrel 3100 was a stretch. The 140's both used same load but the Nosler was a little hot. I think a 1 to 1.5 reduction would still get about 3300 but be ok on pressure. I still have a bunch, about 700, of the 129's so they will be my focus.
Now I have to think about putting a new barrel on the other 264.

That 130 Barnes at over 3400 sounds really nasty.
The same Lilja cut back to 24" would give more V than your other 24" tube as there is more at play than length alone. Sounds like the Lilja is pretty speedy. I had a Lilja on a 25-06 that was quite speedy as well.
