If I could only have 2 calibers my choices would be 7-08 and 338 win mag. I figure all bases are covered with those. What's your choice? I hunt the coyote and elk, moose, deer.

only 2? Wow, I guess I would say 9mm and 22-250. 9mm for defense and all plinking, and the 22-250 would handle all my hunting including deer, pronghorns and hogs.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

243 those are good choices. I assume you mean cartridges and not caliber.

I would take a 270 and a 375H&H.

The 280 Remington is overbore.

As I edge closer to 60 I can say I could have covered all of my hunting needs with a 22 rim fire and any medium sized center fire from 243 to 30-06.

A .30-06 and a .375 for my two, though for everything but big bear I would just as soon use my .338. I think I have the .375 in case I win the lottery and get to go to Africa or Oz.

Calibers- 6 and 7.

Carts? About what I'm using now (or having built, rather)-243 AI and 280 AI. I could substitute many for those 2 though.
