Yeah. I sometimes have that same problem, now that I'm in my late 60s.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

Yeah. I sometimes have that same problem, now that I'm in my late 60s. I replied much in the same fashion to my wife a while back. If you'd been sharpening on a pencil for 35 years it would be getting shorter also. Best GWB

That annie repeater? I am gonna convert mine in the near future probably. Magizines were not allowed in ARG rimfire matches toward the end. All the local long range rimfire matches are allowing clip fed. Gues I am gonna have to go whoop some folks asses at rimfire shooting.

Always nice too see a Whiner,Whining. Congratulations?!? More 243(AI) fuel, for the literal fire and something new for you Window Lickers to Pretend about. Faux Ti-esque,1-8" 23" Brux...yada,yada. Form loads at 3050fps,first batch of "real" stuff at 3150fps,all via formed MilSurp Ball. Hornie 105HPBT's all. Stock needed some love, due to inlet and overspray,as well as it wanting some fore end pressure. 'Nother intellesting Experiments,as of late. B, where ya' been. I thought maybe a Polar Bear got your tongue. I was making some vegetable soup and getting ready to grill some shrimp.. While I was chillin. I also happened to be reading the "The Ballad of Blasphemous Bill, by R.W. Service. Couldnt help but think about ya http://www.internal.org/Robert_W_Service/The_Ballad_of_Blasphemous_BillHadnt checked in lately, and to my surprise, lo and behold, look who pops up. And with a new shootin iron. Like Bill, I thought this thread had died and been put out of its misery days ago. Oh well, Guess what, I was out toolin around the other day, ya know, pettin the critters at the Zoo, when I went to the far reaches.. Good thing I looked behind that last gate and had my "lucky" PTRG's on (pointy-toe-roach-gitters). Otherwise I might have overlooked a nifty little find.......... Too bad, no WAMs, just Talleys'. Oh well, ya cant have everything. Best, GWB

That rifle looks strangely familiar.... Except for the twriligig things on the scope..... And My workbench looks like Bambis Mom.. If you are shooting H335 in that thing, you simply MUST tell me where you get your ideas....

Boxer,
What mods, if any, are needed for the AI'd version to feed smoothly?

Gee, I never can cypher...if you are bitching,or bragging. Congratulations?!!? Laffin'! 'gwe, I hear good things about '335,but never in a 243AI with .530BC's,whether in Form Mode or Watch The [bleep] Out Mode. The Twirlygig Things is all new to me and I'll be curious to see what they're all about. If anyone has any "tips",they'd be appreciated. BEST Thread Evah! 'bird, Simply: "Start At The Start"...I'm sure it's been copy/pasted a few million times by now. This particular receiver needed it's OEM box opened,to grant greater ride height of formed cases,in relation to the bolt's nose. The portside mag lip was askew to starboard and needed to be opened up more than the starboard lip,to steer boolits into chamber. Replaced the stamped POS follower with milled and dat's it...the usual. As per always,I get rid of all humps/bumps and sharp edges internally, with some 400 wet/dry...if only to save die's nether regions, down the road. Rifle Basix trigger in the guts, atta'bout 2-pounds,which is a good place to be,from the hindlegs. Skookum Platform,+P+. '6, That trigger is sub 2-ounces and I'm not up late at night, trying to out do it.(grin) GREAT platform, from which to perfect readin' wind and fine tune hindlegged manipulations. Eddy, The Repeater Conversion is wayyyyyyyyyy overkill, which is how I like to roll. Cain't say enough good things about the worksmanship,or it's rugged reliability. Just do it.(grin)

Shoot I can do that, just need to get to milling. I might do some stock measuring. I bet since I have an abundance of 10/22 mags I could make a modification of that modification if they will fit the stock.

Eddy, Be curious to see what you come up with. Thinking real hard about tripping my elder single extractor 54 and scoring another twin, that's been converted to Repeater and will dump it into my McMillan Annie Sillywet T-hole handle. That'll put me in purty good shape. 'bird, Had it out to 1K+ yesterday and it done very nice thangs, with A-max Hornie HPBT's and Hybrid's. Was gunning the LFB alongside it,if only for perspective.(grin) Relieved the pressure pad a smidge and it was doing very nice things. 105's is certainly slickery,in the wind.

Boxer,
How's the drop for the AMAX vs the HPBT?
Drift? Any compromises at 1,000?
How about 600?
I'm converting a Montana to 243ai.

rick',
When ES/SD and LR Precision meld in sucha fashion...you just proceed right to shooting the barrel out.(grin) There is NOTHING to wish for,nor anything left on the table.
Prolly be scary,with "real" brass.
David,
BC is BC and with all else being equal, more BC never hurts the equation.
I'd be thinking REAL hard about logistics and would simply be procuring enough projectiles...to shoot a spout or two out. The A-Max is obviously on the chopping block, the HPBT remains and anyone dragging their feet in that regard,is well beyond foolish.
The HPBT's profile(along with the Hybrid),will mandate a shorter throat,to keep a COAL kiss at like length. The Hornie HPBT jumps well, but as per always, things is most impressive with a Smooch.
I've yet to have a throat that was "too short"...but have been around lotsa' Linda Lovelace's and they's easy to pass upon,in exchange.
Hint.

NO???? Absolutely NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This thread needs 1300 and some pages, umpteen million more views, and tens of thousands more irrelevant posts of BS to become THE BEST THREAD EVAH. But it aint gonna happen cuz now hes got to argue with John Burns again in the custom area. So that one is now THE BEST THREAD EVAH, but only after 1500 and some pages, umpteen million views, and tens of thousands more irrelevant posts of BS.

You are getting real good at sniffing him out, swifty.....
Looks like you've been too close, get that little chunk of brown stuff off your nose before somebody notices. And zip up that fly......
