Is anyone here interested in getting danner to bring back the elkhunter boots that they manufactured for cabelas? If so contact them and tell them. I have talked with them several times and they are thinking about bringing a couple of boot styles back into there USA made lineup and said if there was enough interest in the elkhunter boots that they could be one of them. Thanks for your time Mark

I don't know I really liked the elkhunters and have had several pairs. if I had known they were being discontinued I would have bought a couple of extra pairs.

I was just about to pull the trigger on some Elkhunters when I realized they were no longer carried by Cabelas. A real shame.
I'm at least glad I had the forethought to stock up on the Browning Featherlight Kangaroo boots (made in USA) before they were gone. Got three pairs on clearance (one from Cabelas at $150, two on ebay at $100) before they were gone.
I've learned my lesson. If you like something, buy it. If you really like it, buy two, because they'll discontinue it.

They are going to bring back a few American made styles. Depending on the interest they said one could be the elkhunter. So if your interested shoot them an email as well

Try Bellville Boots. You won't futz around with Danners.
