Sea water invaded the lower portion of my gun safe (an old jewelers' safe) during Hurricane Sandy but did not reach my guns. However, the asbestos insulation is now a breeding ground for mold and mold has attacked my guns, primarily on the stocks. Obviously, the safe is being replaced.

Can anyone recommend a method of killing the white mold on the gunstocks without damaging the finish?

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.
