Long "Evening" on the old Troy Tiller here.
Full Moon light and all, it was hard to quit.
Just polishing off one of THESE, while the late Supper, or Early Breakfast scorches.
Nice brew, this I reckon one could live on it.

500 ml swing top Bottle poured into tulip glass
Pours a deep chocolate brown with a thin foam cap with no lacings. No visible carbonation.
Sweet maltiness aroma almost like molasses or sorghum and raisins.Earthy. Chocolate hints.
Carbonation on the tongue. Malty. Medium mouthfeel.
Good malty taste which I like. Clean with no bitter aftertaste. Slight sweetness lingers on the tongue. Nice beer that I would enjoy again.

A - Dark amber pour with a high beige foam that retain well. Some patchy lacing on the glass. Bottle conditioned yeast sediment at bottom of bottle.
S - Strong smell of caramel malt, rustic grains, and a bit of cocoa powder. This is a very rough beer, and actually benefits because of it.
T - Very strong malt flavors of caramel and coca hit the tongue. Has a rich finish of wheat bread and pumpernickel.
M - Feels thick and has a heavier feel than its ABV. This is an easy drinking beer however.
O - Not a bad option for the style and feels very rustic. Thus unpolished dunkel is probably more true to the style than the more known products.
