I see Kampfeld is getting behind and limiting what he will take in. Is there anywhere else comparable for fluting?

That statement about taking limited work has been on Kampfeld's site for a long time - if you need a bolt or barrel fluted, I am sure he'll knock that out quickly!!
Just call Karl - he's one hell of a gunsmith & an even nicer guy. His work is pretty much flawless!!

Chad Dixon at longriflesinc.com spiral fluted my last rifle and did an EXCELLANT JOB ON BUILDING THE WHOLE RIFLE.PHONE 605-490-2561.I used him because I've seen quite a bit of his work on snipershide and was very impressed and Karl was backed up with work.It took him less than 2 months to find the parts and build my rifle.He and John and we GREAT to work with.

I'd go Karl for any flutes - just call him and he will take care of you - nicest guy you will every talk with and trust me his work is the cleanest there is.

I used Twistedbarrel in the past for a bolt knob install and was satisfied. One of the few who will work on Ruger bolts.
