I thought it was a different idea being it mounted on and around the ATV driver. Used battery power to raise the stand off and around the ATV.

Many trailer mounted hydraulic raised blinds sold in Texas. All seem to run on the boat battery for the hydraulic power.
Long way to drive for a show.

Picked up my buck tag today along with a doe tag.

Received an email from the owner of the front 40. He hauled a couple of truckloads of road fill and rock. He's been using it to repair the road damage caused by the Beavers last year. Says we can drive a truck right down to the creek now.

awesome! I got my west river turkey tags in the mail this afternoon, feeling more like fall every day. this morning was cool and the dew was heavy.

had a long day at work even though I took off a little early, this weekend was a lot of fun crammed into a little amount of time. sorry I couldn't make it up and see the chickenbuck clan, I really really wanted to. ended up not even seeing family I had in the same town I was staying.

94 today and sticky gross humidity. No fall here other than leaves changing. We need rain pretty bad. Tomorrow hopefully!

Not here, Ryan. We hit 90* before the storms rolled through. Quite a bit of wind damage East of us.

It will be cooler today.

starting to plant winter wheat on friday, fall is just around the corner!
you guys sure have had your dose of heat this summer huh? we've been pretty mild really, only a few days over 100, most have been in the 80's and 90's. which for us is pretty mild, especially since we don't have the humidity and we get cool nights because of altitude. with the intermittent rains we've gotten, this has been an outstanding summer!

Actually been pretty mild here too, Ryan. Had 3 days in the 90's back in early July. The past couple of weeks were running below normal temps which was great. The week ahead looks like it will be hot and muggy though.

yuck, not fun.

had a run in with a rattler today, he was laying in a piece of pipe I wanted, scared the poo out of me and made me jump as I was almost on him before he buzzed. only about a 24 incher, but man was he mad after I drug the 6" PVC pipe out. crazy how a snake can lose their head like that.......

A shout out to our Minnesota members:

Does anyone hunt that early doe season? I'm thinking about giving it a try but have no idea where to even think about going. Can anyone give me some pointers? Anyone interested in matching up for a Campfire doe hunt? Let me know.
