Does any one have a pet load for this bullet.

Going to start with RL19 I have tons on 4895 as that's what my deer rifle shoots 120 grains Nosler partitions.

Man it would be nice if that's what it liked but open to any powder.

R-15 works for 200gr Ballistic tips, ended up around 65gr.
No experience with the accubond, but it should be similar.

RL 19 should work great. I used to use that powder in my hornady 225 gr. loads and it was the chit with that bullet...I ran AA 3100 back in the day with the 200 gr. ballistic tipS in the 338 and it worked great. AA 3100 is like hens teeth anymore though...

R-19 is THE powder for the 338WM. I shot 210 Noslers over 3000fps when I had a 338 with good accuracy.

AA2520. Very clean burning and measures thru my powder like water.

RL19 should work fine with 200-210's.

I'm using 200gr ballistic tips, with 63grs of R15, and magnum primers. I didn't see pressure going heavier in charge, but the tightest groups I got were at 63grs, and I am at 2850fps which works for me.

Near max loads of H4350 and H4831, at 3.30 work well for me. Your rifle may like a different OAL.

dc223: Being that it is an oversized 30/06,the 338 is one of those magnums that works swell with RL15 and RL19. wink

Exactly what I think about it also. Not exactly faint praise for the round. It's a good one.
