After last weeks range trip, I was, well, "ok" with my results, but not thrilled. My new Vangaurd S2 performed as promised and shot three rounds of factory ammo into an inch, barely. I took it to the smith at the shop I manage, and asked him his opinion of the trigger. He gauged it, fingered it, sniffed it, and proceeded to disassemble my rifle. When he was done, the trigger, she feel so much better.
Since the action had been out of the stock, and would require another trip to the range (dang, more trigger time), I went ahead and gave the stock a little bit of the 2 Crow touch, and painted her up.
I like all of the results achieved.
That's a .408" group; cut the original by more than half with the same loads and the same rifle.
I like it mucho!!
