deflave, to be honest I wish I could have waited another month or two to kill this coyote. His fur was coming in really good. I imagine if had been prime, that I would have got, at the very least, $50.00 for his hide. However, this coyote was a problem coyote and the landowner specifically asked if I would come out and try to kill it. It's always nice when a plan comes together.

Roger that. I was just curious. I'm anxious to get after them this season.

Which one did you get?

A FoxPro Firestorm? Does that sound right? It's at home. I can't look at it.

Has like 150 sounds on it. Two speakers. I bought it used but it looks brand new. Box and everything.

Yup that sounds right and it's an easy user friendly caller to use. While I use e-callers and hand calls, I do have to admit I like having the coyotes focus on something besides me. E-caller's do a good job of diverting their attention.

Hopefully I can bring some more in with it.

My dad is coming up this week. I may do a bit of calling this weekend.

Just keep your eyes open for buzzworms. I've run into way too many rattle snakes this summer. It kind'a zaps the fun out of going out in the warmer months.

new pred 204, or the old one?

huntsman22, I still need to get my .204 sighted in. Unfortunately it arrived about the time that ammo became impossible to find. I have a pretty good stash now and will get'r dialed in the next week or two. I plan on using the .204 this winter. It's going to be hard to put the 22-250 down. It's a coyote killing machine, but it just destroy's them. You should have seen the exit wound on this most recent coyote. You could have put a soft ball in it and still had room left around the perimeter.

I got enough .17 Cal Bergers to get me through this fur season.

Very true! But I don't see the .17's listed on his site any more? I need to call him. I swear he used to make .17 stuff.
