My buddy bought a used Zeiss Z6i 3-18x50P HD scope with a rail mount. He wants to put it on a Rem 700. It has one mount of unknown type (and needs two). The scope looks like this.

I have found a weaver adapter, but it fits Zeiss scopes like this. I think this is the current style, and we must be looking for an older style.

The Scope on the top is a Swarovski, rather than a Zeiss. They do not use the same mounting system. Contact your Swarovski dealer, and purchase another mount.

The problem is that they're no longer sold in the U.S. since Swarovski doesn't sell the rail type scopes here any longer.

I suggest he call Swarovski of North America at 800-426-3089 and see if they can help him locate a set, they're normally very helpful.

You are so right. Buddy told me it was Zeiss, but it is Swarovski. The weaver mount is part #49360. I haven't found one yet, but still looking. Remarkable what Campfire guys can do for you. Thank you very much.

Oh well, I talked to Euro Optic and Sport Optic, and they talked to Swarovski for me. This mount is no longer available. Might find one out of luck somewhere but not likely. EAW does make an adapter for their bases (NECG supposed to be able to get it) but very pricey. Thanks for all the help.
