I have an extremely filthy .30-.40 Krag, inside and out. I am going to spray it with Gunscrubber outside. I have some Butch's Bore Shine bore cleaner. Will it hurt to leave it overnite? I plan on getting some Wipeout when I can. Thanks, mtmuley

I'm cleaning my BAR now and just read the directions on the Butches Bore Shine bottle. It has no info on how long it can be left in the bore but I never leave it in more than 10 minutes. Buy some Wipeout, it works but it takes a few fouling shots for my guns to calm down again.

Butches is OK to leave overnight. I've done it frequently. Between it and the wipeout, you have the bases covered.

Tom
