I mounted a bushell banner 1.5X4.5 on my ruger 10-22..However I can see my front sight through the scope when I'm on the lowest setting past 2 power it goes away... what causes this and how can I fix it..?? do I need taller rings these are mid leuy's...maybe same talls??

Every rifle I own with low power and a front sight has this problem. After a lot of screwing around I concluded this is just how it works (low power = wide field of view = seeing front sight). "Anyone seen different?"

Remove the front sight. You can always replace it (if you store it in a safe place <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />).

Not to worry. It's normal. Even with the front sight off you'll still see the barrel. Ues and enjoy.
