I would like to find a real Anorak. Should be rainproof, and maybe a button in liner. If Filson made one of tincloth with a wool liner than would be great.

Anyone know of something similar?

It was maybe the cagoule.
I like the Duluth Pack Anorak but white is stupid until November. I'm not excited abot $300 for a canvas Anorak. Seems a bit steep for an unlined one. The cagoule is interesting as it could be deployed over a pack. Not sure if it's waterproof and the hood covers your face?
I'm beginning to think I should just get a Filson Tin Cloth Packers coat or Badlands Alpha.

That was it...

20 years ago I detested Petzal as an elitst, humorless azzhole egomaniac.

Seems one of us has developed a compatible sense of humor since, and I now enjoy his writings.... smile Other conditions as may be... I think he'd be fun around a campfire.
