At the site of the new St. Paul Saints Stadium in down town St. Paul Check channel 5 and/or 11. They were hovering with choppers all morning and into the afternoon.

It's bad news man. He was going to retire next year, his daughter was getting married next summer. Bad news all the way around.

There was a "2 million biker" rally in DC today in protest of the "million muslim march" planned for today... wow this was the event of the day.

Literally a handful (less that 2 dozen?) showed up for the muslim march.

I've heard that over 800,000 attended the bike rally in DC.

Think about that, they planned this thing back in august. This is basically a collective knee jerk "hell yeah I'll go" list of attendees.

Nearly a million... wow, simply awesome.

And the MSM wont give it any air time.

I hope that all are safe with their families on this landmark day.

I believe that is over double the attendance of the 60+ year old Sturgis rally.

I love what people will do for a cause. I also regret not being able to attend.

This time.....

Thinking the same here, kind of ashamed of myself for not being there.

Anywho...

We only have a couple nights of moving left. My shop is empty, many house items have moved already, only large furniture items and some food and clothes are left to move.

Makes me want to get out and join them. A fantastic show I'm sure.

Last weekend there was a "remember the troops" ride that went through my town. Jack and I were at the crossing when it rolled through the stop light. There HAD to be 5-600 bikes. It moved me a lot.

Jack rolled the window down so he could hear the pipes, I got out so I could watch.

That said, yesterday I saw one of the sweetest bikes I've ever seen. It was a Victory. Racy looking bike, kinda like a Harley V-Rod. It was flat black on every surface except the sides of the gas tank where it was painted white and said "Victory" on it.

Absolutely beautiful bike!

Getting closer Dave. When is the actual closing date? Or did you guys do that already?

It was 51* here on my ride to work this AM. That's the coldest it's been in a while and it feels great! Inching closer to fall.

60 days til deer season opener in case anyone is wondering. smile

Rant time. I took my old Burris Signiture scope out to one of the UPS franchise stores to return to Burris for repair (Forever Warranty).

The store would not accept it because it was firearms related. So I ended driving over to the UPS terminal on the other side of town. No problem shipping it from there. I told the clerk what had happened and she said she had no idea why the franchise store would not accept a scope.

Tom-doesn't that make it kind of hard to ship the kids the grandparents for summer vacation?

I'll work on a bike for then. grin

I've not really had a desire to get one until this year. The type of weather we're having is feeding fuel into the fire for that too!
