That's one of my Favorite movie scenes, that's not in a Western movie, anyways.

The fact you called it a '440' PROVES you ARE an old fart!

Another old fart (almost 56)

It's not the miles - it's the quality of the roads.

Two tracks have been the BEST roads in my life!

I like two-tracks. Keeping things simple the best way.

I am not coming up on 80! I still have 4 years to go.

I had you pegged for about 45. I'm wrong pretty often.

Yes, you are wrong pretty often.

I'll soon be 53 and having my back sliced open on Monday. Hair growing like weeds out of my ears and both nose holes. Can't see for chit with bifocals. Deaf as a post from all the shooting. Broke a molar the other day.

This getting old sucks donkey balls.

Might have to start drinking again so I can get my dander up (not that dander thank you very much).

I'll just have to remember to do it.

BTW, anyone taking memory pills of any kind? How do you know they work? You suddenly start shouting: "Now I remember!" over and over?

Beside's your still just a youngster from my view at 65, 2 weeks ago.. smile

I can still run a fast 440 too, as long as we're talking inches. But give me a 50 lb. pack and all day, and I can go a loooooong way.

I'm going on a 3 day solo moose hunt starting Sunday evening or Monday morning. If successful, I'll post pictures..... if I can remember what I did with camera/PC cord, how to access/post to photobucket, etc....

None of those worthless bastid Eskimos that I work with will trade work days with me, or it would be a 5 day hunt. They are all going caribou hunting, and will probably shoot a half to full dozen, from boats on the river, the puzies... smile

Us old vets know you can get away with a lot if you add Sir to your statements disagreeing with authority.

But dont be pushing your luck

I decided years ago, that what the young whipper snappers think is of little consequence.
Of course, the opinions of some of the old codgers like myself, don't count for chit either. smile

In all seriousness though there is a disconnect between how most older folks think, and some of the stuff that the younger set comes up with, or thinks is 'ok'.

what's that old saying? "I'm not as good as I once was, but I damn sure am as good once, as I ever was"

At 73...I don't 'bond' to well with the younger IDIOTS! They don't have a clue what made America great...or who it was that made it great!! My Dad's generation paid the price in blood, sweat, and tears to provide for the enjoyment and lifestyle that the younger set enjoys today. Most of what the younger set has done, with the exception of a few has been to smoke pot, snort coke, and apply for food stamps and welfare!! Sorriest bunch of 'entitlement bastards' I've ever known!!

Good advice,...but if you don't mix it with Saw Palmetto,..you'll have to get up in the middle of the night and pee with a boner,...in the sink, of course.
