Ooooo, paint remover! Since I've never spilled any on a bedding job, I'd never thought of that. Taking down an X Mark, I used a torch and a hex wrench "conductor" to toast the screw without hurting any springs. Tricky, but effective enough.

Have you tried picking it out yet? I was lucky. Using the tip of a razor blade, I was able to pick the epoxy out prior to using any products. Honestly, it was almost too easy. Kind of surprised me. Good luck.
