Here was a crossing on a mule deer hunt a few years ago. I packed wet suite booties and rolled up my pants. Deepest part was just below the knees, but it sure was cold.

It was cold and miserable and the worst part was it was an early October Mule deer hunt in the Scapegoat. We wanted to to an early season hunt in nice weather. We ended up with 18" of snow and it got down to 0 the first night.

Still had a lot of fun though. Thank god for wood heat!

Speaking of coffee cups. I'm pretty sure I wound up with Levi's blue enamel one at the BHA fling this spring.
