Need to ship an F250 PSD pickup to Fairbanks Alaska. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience using a commercial vehicle transporting service to do this and if so, any suggestions on a good reputable company to use (as well as ones to avoid), approximate cost and any advice you might have to make it relatively painless. Thanks.

Or me to drive up and fly back. I am a PSD owner myself.

IIRC ... I used Wrightway to have my mom's car shipped from N Ca to Anchorage. The cost was reasonable enough to justify having it shipped vs selling it and buying a new one in AK.

They arranged everything ... it all went smooth ... no problems.

I just shipped mine from AK to MI. Started out with a mom and pop company in Wasilla and it changed hands 3-4 times before it got delivered. it was a 96 chevy extended cab/short bed and it costs me 3K.

everything went good for me. I'd just ask if the carrier you go through has control all the way or if they do swap to another carrier
