Hell if I know, kinda evil lookin' but cool at the same time. I've seen a few of them this Summer, very fast movers during hot temps. Chilly today so he stood still for pics. 1.5-2" long.

BGG and I got to discussing bugs one day and he mentioned tarantula hawk. This thing looks similar.

Bullet ant is worse. Obviously no tarantulas in MT but maybe this kind eats black widows? Who knows, thanks for all the input.
