Using a 350 Rem Mag this year on deer and hogs and have some 200 PSP cor-lokts. I was wondering if people can share some experience on game. I understand they are the old cor-lokt design and are fairly tough. I just want to make sure they open reliably on deer.

I haven't shot a deer with them, but I have shot two caribou with the Rem factory loads in 35 Whelen. One caribou was fairly typical size, and the other was a smaller year-and-a-half old. Neither bullet hit anything but ribs, in or out, and both left half-dollar-sized exits. Neither shot was over 100 yards.

Pretty sure that, that is what Remington originally loaded. I have an old red & white box of Remington 200 gr. PSP bullets that says 350 mag. on it. Not sure if these were ever any different than a plain core lokts or not.

Thanks for the responses. I thought more people would have experience with this bullet. I'll just see which one shoots better (interlock or Cor-lokt) and give it a try. I'm sure I'm over thinking it.

IMO - Interlocks have always been pretty good. I feel that they are a little more accurate than the recent core-lokts. Also, read it somewhere, that Hornady makes the core-lokts for Rem.. Shoot both into some wet newspaper and see how they hold together.

Popped a couple of caribou with them. This is one that stopped because it encountered some bone. I think they may be a bit tougher than the Interlocks in the 35s, not a bad choice at 350 speeds most likely.
Sometimes, the air you 'let in'matters less than the air you 'let out'.
