People are ignoring the big elephant in the room. It is THIS site that is the problem. I would gladly be willing to pay a subscription fee if Rick would get rid of all those pop up ads etc.

I simply downloaded the Adblock Plus, have had no problems since, site runs much faster.

Downloaded Adblocker Plus & its still shutting me down every 2 or 3 minutes!!

Chrome may be great, but I try not to support Google if I can help it. I've used Firefox for years.

CHROME is your friend..
Using that on this pos PC - no issues here whatsoever re: 24hour..... Tried CHROME when my Win 7 was new and had all kinds of issues that seemed to clear up when I dumped it.

Yep I was having the same problems a few months ago, switched to Google Chrome and viola problems gone! The guys at work still haven't caught on even though I told them. 
JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H
