Just kidding. But I wish I'd a' been hoarding A-Maxes a little harder. Not sure if these will last me for the rest of my days or not.

Amateur. I would need to use the panoramic setting on my camera to get half my pile in one picture.

I don't get it? Your handle is 257heaven but all I see is .22, 6mm and 7mm bullets there. What's up with that? Are you re-selling them?

Do they now or did they ever make an A-Max in 257 caliber? Thanks for rubbing that in, man. You know if they did ever make a quarter bore A-Max, that pile would reach the ceiling. Haha.

I learned something new today.
I've never looked for an A max in .25 cal as all I have that uses .257 bullets are 25-20 and 256 WinMag. Guess I just figured the AMax would be a desired bullet for that caliber.

Never thought that Hornady would leave out the "Bob" shooters and all those folks with .25-06's .257 Weatherby's. Don't they know what they are missing out on?

Sorry if I "hit a nerve". I simpathize as it seems to get harder every few years to find suitable bullets for those small .257 rounds. I'd personally love to see Hornady come out with a 75 gr or so flex tip and Barnes to come out with an all copper 60-65gr one as I can see a use for it in Cali and N Az where I can hunt at times. ("Condor zones") I'm even thinking about getting a mini lathe to turn down some 100 gr Barnes to something that might work for my needs. I'd guess that a flat point copper bullet from either of the calibers I have would whack a rabbit or turkey real good.

And if they ever do make an A Max for you I hope you do stock up. Buy all you can! Alot of the stuff I've gotten "used to" over the years has been discontinued.

Thank goodness my 10-yr old likes shooting the A-Maxes out of the 223AI just as much as I do.

Nice. I am substantially a large bore five and sixgun shooter and I would be embarrassed to show the cast bullets awaiting. Those and good old HS-6.

the folks most indignant about hoarding, are the folks that did not get off their butts and stock up themselves.

I suspect you will have time to double your stash, AND shoot both what you have and everything you buy! I know I plan to do the same.

I just saw the Ghostly image in the glass and thought Halloween is fast approaching, or a neighbor was admiring your stash while you took the picture... Now that I think about it, I'd keep an open eye on that guy, he may be "casing" your place after hearing you, are a hoarder, my friend.....

I have been reading about the ammo shortage and hoarding. The other day, on of my boys was in a sporting goods store and saw about 40,000 .22s.

The owner said that he would not sell any of them, that he was going to wait until .22s were priced the same as gold, then make a fortune on them.

Depends on how many you graciously pass on to your "Fire" brothers.

One of the good things about getting older is that a "hoard" is not a very big pile.

While .gov calls hoarders crazy fringe right wingers, they[.gov] are the biggest hoarders anywhere.
