"I've lost my mojo!" Man this has been a bad run over the last couple weeks for your friendly host. I feel just like Austin Powers when he discovered his mojo had went the way of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Ain't a good place to be. Foxbat squeaked out the tie break on Nail and in the process absolutely administered a first class beatdown on everyone else. Including me. Most of all me! But he PM'd me mojo in a bottle in the form of 5 tough picks and I've added my own 5 to give all of us a chance for some much needed redemption. Man I hope it works. Its less expensive than the blue pill. Will Week #5 Games List:
1) UCLA at Utah - Thu 2) Maryland at Florida St. 3) Michigan St. at Iowa 4) Illinois at Nebraska 5) Clemson at Syracuse 6) Mississippi at Auburn 7) Missouri at Vanderbilt 8) Arizona St. at Notre Dame 9) Ohio St. at Northwestern 10) Washington at Stanford + total points tie breaker
Smellin' a lot of 'if' coming off this plan.

Record freaking time. Made my picks within 2 minutes of your post and not looking back.
I'm convinced that is now the best way. Screw all the homework and analysis.
Thanks Will.

This bit from Austin Powers more accurately describes this season.. It's been "a bit nutty.!" Record freaking time. Made my picks within 2 minutes of your post and not looking back.
I'm convinced that is now the best way. Screw all the homework and analysis.
Are you sure that's the pick you want on that Thursday game..?

Clan of the Ewes and You Taw a Puddy Tat - should be interesting.
Land of Happiness and Gaiety and the One-Half Noles. Welcome back to terra firma, Terps.
If Michigan State is "Sparty", why isn't Iowa "Hawky"?
Sick in Nois and the Possessors of Lotion. Somebody has been doing it with mirrors.
Boys of Clem and Poorexcuse.
Mr. Sippi's Spouse and Dad Burn's brother Aw.
Misery loves to be company. Der Van was Bilt to accomodate them.
Devil's Son and Your Lady - polar opposites on the religious front.
Dollar Vision Organs take on another set of pretenders - these from the upper left.
Two Thousand Pounds of Laundry and Mr. Laurel's Model A. Should be interesting.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Didn't watch a lick of football this last week because I was catching trout in the Colorado river and I won't watch a lick this week because I'll be bear/varmint hunting. Who's idea was it to schedule football season during hunting season???
1) UCLA at Utah - Tempted to take the home dog on Thursday night, but, I'm sticking with the bruins. Not sure Utah can keep up on offense.
2) Maryland at Florida St.- I really like Maryland off a bye against a not-as-elite-as-you-think Seminole team. However, the 'Noles are 21-2 against the Terps and I think they still outman them. I think Maryland +16 is a line I'll be on, hoping to get it at +17.
3) Michigan St. at Iowa- Should have been on Iowa last week and you won't catch me betting on that Sparty "offense." Hawkeyes at home. Hint: I almost always mis-pick Hawkeye games.
4) Illinois at Nebraska- As a Huskers fan I have to take them at home, but the Illini can score points and the Huskers like to give them up. Could be a decent game.
5) Clemson at Syracuse- Safe pick, doubt 'Cuse can hang.
6) Mississippi at Auburn - let's roll with the home dog, Ole Miss may be kinda beat up and deflated and Auburn is off a bye and improved over last year.
7) Missouri at Vanderbilt- Ah, the second bottomfeeder SEC crapshoot pick... Let's go with Vandy, Mizzou isn't going to stay undefeated forever.
8) Arizona St. at Notre Dame- Irish offense is missing Golson pretty badly and the defense is not the unit they were last year. The stupid scumdevils can score points. Still, I could never bring myself to pick AS"U" over the Irish, and asu doesn't win a lot of big games. Expect the unexpected, IRISH roll at home. 9) Ohio St. at Northwestern- THE Ohio State University OWNS the Big Ten.
10) Washington at Stanford- I do like the Huskies' odds here, but I have to take the Tree until they falter or play Oregon. 34-31 Stanford.

Not one bit of research this time.
I just picked the games.

Research??? What is it and how does it apply?? I just pick 'em, based mostly on who I like and a little on who they have played already.....but then you can see where I stand in the rankings....:)

I used a coin for this weeks picks. At this point I'm thinking random is a better selection tool than I am. Next week, 20 sided dice.

Damned officials are at it again. Got to be PAC/MAC something or the other.
Just plain ole punk officiating not letting them play.

Yeah, I figured the UCLA/Utah game to be a tight one. But most of us got through unscathed. There is a reason that the Texas/ISU game was not on the list... it turned out exactly how I thought it would: too close to call. Iowa State is getter better and is ALWAYS tough at home. Texas is limping along with luck on it's side. Glad it didn't make the list. Will
