WTG huntsman22...other than using a 25/06 over a 243 I really have a secret thing for quarterbore chamberings and have since I started playing with the 25x284 a couple years back. We just need some good bullets.

All this talk of the 1/4 makes me go back to my roots. Made me knock the dust off the amo boxes. Don't think it shoots 1/4 like most of the guys on the forum ;however, she should do 20 in 3/4! More than likely ring the bell to 1000.

Got a pair of Ideal powder throwers. Can I get in?
One for parts, one still in use. Devil of a time getting them crusty things apart, shined up and one to work again. But it does the job on ball and flake powders.
I like "old stuff" as long as it still works. And that doesn't apply to me. ;O)
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

Poken black birds out to 400 of the back porch this morning. With decoy spread starting they seem to be losing nerve. My .243 kicks the teeth out of my 25 but its hard for me to break habits.
