Tjay, you're welcome! I shot mine with a ruger 243 m77MKII sporting a burris signature 3-9x40 with a spec-tech adjustable trigger set to 1.5 lbs. I was shooting hand loaded 95 NBT with RL22. it was moving at a balmy 2900 fps at the muzzle. it as also rocking a harris tilting bipod 9-13 I believe. only thing I would change is not forgetting my sling at home! I missed him with a 260 AI, I actually have the video of my miss

Ryan, Were the guns you were shooting at that range just your regular hunting rifles or did some of you guys have a particular set up for that type of shooting?
I can't even fathom shooting that far. A long poke to me is 200 yards.

They are all just really excited that the Cardinals won yesterday in Pittsburgh and get to play at home tomorrow against the Pirates and former Twins. Eat hearty when you enjoy the ribs.

Tom- with the long range stuff we had both. some (like mine) were set up for long range primarily 200-850 was the range I had mine set for. our hosts rifle looked like a regular fluted rifle with a scope, but he could dial his all the way to 1200 IIRC. my little ruger 243 I used up north for deer is the same as it always has been, thats what I used for my buck. using a regular rifle out to 600 yards is actually pretty easy once you learn how to spin the knobs and learn your MOAs of drop for your load.
