Give me some ideas for a bino case...

I'm not sure if they still make them but I have a soft case made by Swaravski for my 8x30s and have no complaints about it.

Umm, why?
No, not being facetious. I mean, I carry my bino's (Zeiss 10x32's, Leica 10x42's, etc.) without a case. They're rubber covered and will readily absorb normal abuse without issue.
Just keep the lenses covered to keep out dirt and be happy.

Crown Royal bags keep my binos, cameras and fishing reels clean.
That said, go to a camera store and look for a soft camera case that will fit. Should be just the ticket.

I mentioned this in another topic re rangefinders. I'm not wild about Nimrod packs but their pouches, pockets are great. Easy and quiet one-hand opening closing, attach to belts or packs in a number of ways. That said, I don't carry my binos in a case. Of course, I might store them in a case if I owned Swaros. I use the Nimrod pouches for camera, gps or rangefinder. http://www.nimrodpacks.com/n45.html

I've become very fond of the soft, green, coarse wool case my Meopta HD's came in. Very quiet to carry and handle. When I first saw it I thought it was not such a good thing. Use has proven me completely wrong.

My friend,
Not being facetious either, but I've carried Swaro 8x30 SLC's for many miles in many places over the last 15-20 years, including what has felt like a few miles of belly crawling in Scotland through wet heather, and never felt the need for a carrying case. I adjusted the straps to a short position so the binos hang close, and tuck them into my wind shell or jacket. I don't use the objective covers in the field, and have the ocular cover connected to only one strap. I usually have that cover on, but it will come off and swing out of the way instantly. This may not work for your purposes, but I've never had a problem.
